‘PRE-MADES/ YOUR CHARACTER HERE’

I will be making occasional drops of ‘Your Character Here’ poses. These are images and poses that I am inspired by and would make artwork of regardless- it might as well be your character(s)! I am addressing commissions this way because researching from scratch, start to finish takes up A LOT of time and I want to be excited about what I’m creating! It’s a win-win for everyone.

WHAT I AM/ AM NOT INTERESTED IN CREATING:

  • YES -Fantasy, Dark, Gothic, Paranormal/ Vampire, Myth based, Period, & Medieval inspired characters.

  • YES - I want to create more than just a painting of your character, I like to get conceptual in my artwork and tell the story of your character(s) through symbols, color palette, etc. For this reason I require a reasonable amount of artistic license.

  • NO - Modern day, sports, western, etc.

  • NO - Currently, I am not interested in creating fully rendered ‘scenes’ involving landscape, interior architecture, etc. It is not my strong suit and I am more interested in focusing on the characters themselves.

  • NSWF - I will not be dropping explicit XXX character poses, but I do like to ride the line and love romantic and edgy poses.

A little about me an my process:

I work in traditional media, mostly acrylic and gouache. When you commission a piece, you will receive a real physical painting! This will measure around 12”x 16”-13”x 19” as well as a high resolution digital scan. I also have the ability to do touch-ups digitally on my ipad.

PROCESS:

  • When we both find a character/ pose that we love, we’ll start the ball rolling!

  • A loose concept sketch will be delivered - this is an opportunity to give input and feedback.

  • I’ll start finalizing the drawing and get it ready for rendering. This is the LAST opportunity to change any major elements of the drawing. We’ll also discuss color at this point.

  • I may check in occasionally with updates or if I have any specific questions about the painting.

  • After final payment, you will receive the digital file and artwork!

  • A deposit is required to begin the process & payment plans are always an option.

PRICING

Pricing ranges from $300- $1200+ depending on complexity, amount of characters, clothing, etc.

For example: on the lower end; single character; nude or simple/ minimal clothing. On the higher end, multiple characters, elaborate costume/armor/weapons/tattoos.

Bust (Head & Shoulder) - $300-$500

Single Character -3/4 Torso (knees-up) $500-$800

Couples- 3/4 (knees-up) - $800 - $1200+

*I rarely do a full body portrait as I don’t work digitally and don’t have the capability for infinite zoom on my canvas/paper. This can be accommodated, but will be an extra cost as I will have to work larger.

What REALLY helps- if you have a curated mood/character board with specific references. For example, your character is a warrior and you want her/him/they to have ‘armor and a sword’ and I have to dig through pinterest and multiple reference sights to find inspiration for this/ guess at what you might have in mind, it will end up costing more, because that is extra time spent that I could be drawing.

VS

You present a board with specific examples of armor, clothing, & weapons that you envision; they don’t have to be the exact thing, just examples that I can ‘draw’ from. The less digging around the internet I have to do the more time I can spend on your painting and the clearer the vision. This also helps give confidence that we are both on the same page :)

Please NO AI references. I DO NOT use AI at any stage of this process. I pay for reference packs from companies on Art Station and Gumroad and also use free stock photos from sights like Pexels. The rest I fill in with my imagination.

After you fill out the interest form, I will send a final price. If you have a budget, just let me know, there is always a way to work with it!

LICENSING/ COPYRIGHT

Artist retains copyright of the artwork. Authors retain the copyright for the IP of their characters.

Your artwork commission includes license to use for promotion; social media, marketing materials, banners, etc. License for Commercial use; Book cover, prints, merchandise, etc. + 25%- 50%
